My name is Laura Hewitt (she/her).

What we do
Here at Polaris Therapeutic Services, we offer counselling that is designed with you at the heart. We consider each person as an individual, and offer a service that is kind, holistic, and tailored to your needs.
We offer an integrative approach to our service, drawing on tools from Cognitive Behavioural Theory, Transpersonal, Gestalt and Internal Family Systems models that are built on a Person Centred foundation. We aim to work intuitively, and invite creativity where it is welcome. More information on what this means can be found on our blog (here).

Face to Face
Taking place in our office based in Plymouth City Centre, we offer an individualised counselling service to clients who would like to visit in person. With lots of nearby parking, our comfortable office is a secure place for your appointment.

Online
Enabling you to access our service from the comfort of your own home, we offer an online service using Google Meets. This offers the most flexibility, and is available with 24 hours notice, dependent on counsellor availability.

Low Cost
We also hold a limited number of low cost appointments, which are available for an allotted 8 sessions per client who would like to access counselling online. This is a popular service, for which we keep a waiting list.
